 Which lots are available for the Street of Dreams homes?

As you take a look at the Germann Estates plat map, you can select from among Lots 34 through 39 which are offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  This is the area of the Germann Estates subdivision in which the Street of Dreams will be held.

How much will my lot cost?

The base price for lots in the Street of Dreams is $175,000 (some lots to be adjusted for premiums).  Contact us to learn more details about our Street of Dreams lot pricing.

Is financing available?

Yes.  Whitewing offers to finance your lot purchase, and we have a list of preferred lenders available upon request that are eager to finance the construction costs of your home.

When do I have to close on my lot purchase? 

We expect building to start toward the end of 2010 in order to be ready for the early 2012 show date.  Therefore, you should close on your lot purchase in September or October of 2010 to allow adequate time for planning and permitting prior to start of construction.

Can I use my own builder or do I have to use a designated contractor?

As in all Whitewing communities, you can use your own builder, however all builders participating in the Street of Dreams must agree to be governed by the quality standards and rules associated with the event.  We encourage you to consider the builders highlighted on the left panel of this page as they are experienced and qualified contractors already familiar with Street of Dreams and Whitewing expectations.

With my brand new house taking in the traffic from the Street of Dreams show, won’t I have lots of repairs to make after the event is over?

After conducting 82 show events during the past 25 years, officials of the Street of Dreams have observed that relatively minor carpet, paint and other touch-ups are required to put your house back in new condition following the event.  It is a negligible cost when compared to the significant savings in having the home of your dreams at a very affordable price!
